Venice is divided in six boroughs called
“sestieri” they are Dorsoduro, Santa Croce,

Fall season, flooding squares and streets, making difficoltous
to go around, but Venetians promptly organize foot-bridges
making walking easer.
To measure high-tide, electronic instruments are based,
on the level the tide reaches in height, St. Maria della
salute, and other strategic points in the City. This system
advises people of the incoming high-tide with electric sirens.
